13 months since the last update here. Dang. Lots of books read and games played since then. Too many to really name. So instead I'll just name the current ones. Games: Thief, Archeage (beta), Neverwinter Online, Minecraft. Marvel Heroes was on that list until the game decided to quit starting up. Books: Path of the Archon (Dark Eldar series, Warhammer 40k) with the first 2 books previous to it.
Around 2000, I made a website (TerraAnimi) that started out as purely a collection of links to various sites I found interesting. This was way before the days of browsers being able to sync your settings between different computers. This website was my way to handle that. Eventually, I also added some personal creations (short stories, poems, rpg stuff, etc.) on there too. Mid-2001 found me out of a job; and even though I thought I had the host paid for the year, I discovered my site gone one day. Unfortunately, in my stupidity, an available backup was not to be found. Over the years, I have tried to find a copy of it. Google cache and Internet Archive managed to find me a few pages, but the vast majority (99%) was gone.
This past weekend I finally had enough the of chaos that is the office and started cleaning things up. Day 2 found me going through old CDs. One unmarked CD had a backup of an old computer (oh, the days of the monthly formatting). Lo and behold, on there was a copy of TA!! Google Drive will be its new home until I can go through it all. Needless to say, I am a happy man.

WIR: Ravenor - The Omnibus
My current WIR book is Ravenor: The Omnibus. This is is third time I've start this book. The other two times I didn't make it even 100 pages in before putting it down in place of something else. It was usually a much shorter book that replaced it. This does not mean I couldn't get into the story but rather that I wanted something that was easier to carry around with me. This book is definitely not small, weighing in at 890 pages and in a larger format than normal paperback books. At 115 pages into it this time and enjoying it a lot.
Gone Digital: Shadowrun Returns
Woot! Two Kickstarter payoffs this month. First was the Reaper Bones mini, and now Shadowrun Returns. After waiting over a year since the KS ended, only a five more days to wait. Here is its main site and its trailer.

A Load of Minis
Well, I'm a happy gamer. My shipment of Reaper's Bones miniatures from their Kickstarter campaign finally arrived! I have no idea when, or if, I will get around to painting them all (not going to say how many but it's a lot). I'm just glad they finally showed up so I don't have to worry about it any more.
WIR: Ahriman: Exile
I'm back to Warhammer 40k with this Ahriman: Exile. It's based one of my favorites from the 40k universe: Azhak Ahriman, former Librarian of the Thousand Sons.
